How to Change Your Router's IP Address
You can change your router's local IP address from inside the admin panel. Useful when two routers conflict or you want a non-default address.

Log in to the router admin panel
Open your current gateway IP (e.g.
http://192.168.1.1) and sign in with your admin credentials. -

Find the LAN settings
Look for LAN, Network, or Local Network in the menu. The router's IP address is listed here.

Enter the new IP address
Change the IP to your preferred address — for example
192.168.2.1. Keep the same subnet mask (usually 255.255.255.0). -

Save and reconnect
After saving, the router reboots. Type the new IP into your browser to access the admin panel again. Update your bookmarks.
