Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between public and private IP?
Your public IP is assigned by your ISP and visible to websites. Your private (local) IP is assigned by your router and only works inside your home network.
Does my IP address change?
Your public IP may change when you restart your router (dynamic IP). Your local IP can also change unless your router assigns a static reservation.
