How to See All Devices Connected to Your WiFi

Your router's admin panel shows every connected device. Here's how to find the list and what to do if you spot something unfamiliar.

Updated 2026

  1. 1

Log in to the router admin panel

Open your gateway IP in a browser and sign in.

  2. 2

    Find the device list

Look for Connected Devices, DHCP Client List, Device Manager, or LAN in the menu.

  3. 3

    Read the device details

Each entry shows a local IP, MAC address, and often a hostname. Use these to identify each device.

  4. 4

    Investigate unknowns

If you don't recognise a device, note its MAC address. You can block it or change your WiFi password to force all devices to re-authenticate.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate is the connected devices list?
It shows devices currently connected or recently connected (within the DHCP lease period). Devices that disconnected long ago may not appear.
What if I see a device I don't recognise?
Change your WiFi password immediately. All devices, including the unknown one, will need to reconnect with the new password.
